The national women's hockey team of Cambodia traveled to Malaysia in the morning of November 1 to camp for training and competing in the international friendly matches with clubs and host teams to hone their skills and techniques in preparation for international competitions.

Mr. Kaing Sothea, Secretary General of the Federation, confirmed that the training camp mission will last a full month after receiving permission from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and with the support of the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF).

During this training, the women's hockey team of Cambodia will compete in international friendly matches with clubs as well as the host team Malaysia, which the Federation considers a good opportunity to measure and promote the development of the technical capabilities of Cambodian players in preparation for international competitions in the future, especially the Asian Cup in early 2026, which the AHF plans to determine the host in the near future.

It should be noted that, the Cambodia women's national hockey team's training camp in Malaysia has a total of 14 coaches, assistant coaches and players. The training focuses on indoor and Hockey5's disciplines, which the Asian Hockey Federation organizes at Raja Ashman - AHF Academy Ipoh from November 1 to 30, 2025.
