The Cycling Federation increases coaching resources for the 2031 Asian Youth Games

Phnom Penh: The Cycling Federation of Cambodia, under the budget support project of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the strategic plan of H.E. Pan Sorsak, President of the Cycling Federation of Cambodia, to further develop human resources in the cycling sector, opened the Level 1 technical training course for cycling coaches from February 2 to 5, 2026 at the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia.

Mr. Nou Chamroeun, Secretary General of the Cycling Federation of Cambodia, stated that the Level 1 technical training course for cycling coaches was organized by the federation after organizing a basic level coaching course in 2025.

He said that, the Level 1 coaching course was organized with the aim of cultivating more cycling coaches to provide training to young athletes who have become potential athletes in preparation for competing in the 2031 Asian Youth Games, which the Kingdom of Cambodia is hosting.

The Secretary General highlighted that, for this course, all participants studied with the guidance of coaches who have just completed Level 3 certification recognized by the World Cycling Federation.


He hopes that the participants who attended this Level 1 coaching course will become outstanding coaches in provincial and capital clubs, helping to train young athletes to win medals at the 2031 Asian Youth Games for Cambodia.
