There are 60 boules and petanque clubs from institutions, capitals, provinces, and throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia participated in the 2025 National Boules and Petanque Championship, which took place from January 28 to 30, 2026 at the National Olympic Stadium.
According to a report from Mr. In Kimsrun, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Commission, there are 416 players, which is an increase over last year’s National Championship.
H.E Sok Sokan, President of the Cambodia Boules and Petanque Federation, said that the 2025 National Boules and Petanque Championship is organized with the aim of promoting the Boules and Petanque sector, increasing ties and solidarity between alliance and clubs, and providing opportunities for players across the country to compete and hone their skills. It is also a platform for the Federation to look for players with potential and talent in petanque to join the national team in the coming years.
There are 8 disciplines, including 1-Men 18 years and older 1 vs 1, 2-Women 18 years and older 1 vs 1, 3-Girls 12 to 15 years old 1 vs 1, 4-Boys 12 to 15 years old 1 vs 1, 5-Men 16 years and older score points, 6-Women 16 years and older score points, 7-Men 16 years and older 3 vs 3 (no reserves), and 8-Women 16 years and older 3 vs 3 (no reserves).
